What does the camera reveal that the eye cannot see?

For more than a decade, Efrat Mazor has been documenting Israeli dance, capturing fleeting moments and building an extraordinary visual archive of the field.

A former dancer herself, Efrat approaches photography with an embodied understanding of movement, an openness to the unexpected, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the artists whose work she documents.

For Spotlight #4, we spoke with Efrat about the art of looking, learning to trust her intuition, and what happens when photographing a performance becomes an immersive experience of its own.

What an amazing morning at @indnegev with @shiwabi What an amazing morning at @indnegev with @shiwabiwa , @carmen_elmakiyes_amos , @orilenkinski and @albi__world !

Inspired by philosopher Emmanuel Levinas’s concept of The Other, we came together to talk, write and reflect on encounters with others, responsibility and the ways we relate to one another.

A music festival feels like the perfect setting for this kind of conversation. A chance to step outside our everyday routines, encounter different perspectives and open ourselves to new ways of thinking.

It was especially moving to hear people from the audience share their own writing, adding their voices and experiences to the conversation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Albi and InDNegev for the collaboration.

An Even (Green) Playing Field What happens when y An Even (Green) Playing Field

What happens when youth and age meet on equal footing?

In 'Metamorphosis', Yossi Berg and Oded Graf bring two generations of performers together on a green playing field, challenging familiar assumptions about youth, aging, and transformation.

Ori Lenkinski reflects on the encounter, the specter of catastrophe, and what it means to grow older without necessarily growing lesser.
